Why was china popular for their merchants?China was one of the most popular countries during the trade. There are several unique reasons for why China’s merchants caused her to be popular. The first reason it was popular due to its merchants was that it was a very big market.China was almost the most country that traded in that period. It had a huge variety of goods and was able to frequently trade and win lots from it in terms of money but also valuable goods from other countries. The second reason it was popular due to its merchants is that is a number of products they were able to create were amazing, they were able to connect with lots of other countries like India, Great Britain, the Middle East and Japan.China traded with all these countries. They were able to trade very well with all the countries due to their variety of products and their wealth.China was also able to trade their products throughout the whole period of all success. The third reason China was popular due to their merchants is that all their products were very good quality, this then made them extremely famous within the countries as all the countries that traded with them were encouraged to continue when they saw how good their quality was in terms of products. They then made them famous within the countries due to the quality of their products that they traded with other countries. The fourth reason of their popularity due to the merchants was that due to how good the merchants were and how the quality of them was extremely well he and had great relations with countries which allowed him to trade well with the rest of the countries.Their products were always with great quality and of good use, this then created good relations with the rests of the countries and due to a number of countries it traded with it made its merchants that were traded within the countries made them popular towards the other countries.

How did the ruling government of China deal with trading? The government during the trade had a very important role as they were the ones that were responsible for China and it’s merchants throughout the whole trade. The government also had to take lots if actions during the trade towards other countries but also toward the country itself of China. During the silk trade, there were lots of different actions and ways that the government dealt with the trade. One the actions they took during that trade was that during the silk trade when it already started and was in the middle of it’s occurrence the government decided to add taxes to whoever traded with China, what happened was that whoever someone or a group came to trade with China they would have to pay taxes to China to be able to trade with them. This then did not really affect a number of people who traded with them. The second section that the Chinese government did was that during the silk trade due silk was extremely valuable during the trade, China was the only country that was able to make silk and trade it.Due to that China’s population was obliged to keep the process a secret and anyone who spoke about it to anyone else would be pushed by death. Some people were actually killed due to this law and as some people spoke about it which forced them to death. The third action they also did was that during the opium trade they worked well with other countries.Close to the end, the government discovered that opium harmed lots of people and that many people started becoming extremely addictive and in certain cases, it caused some deaths too. Due to the that they were really worried, the government was mainly worried about the effect it would have on its population. The Chinese government didn't want to have and factors of danger occurring in the country or any safety being in the country due to the opium they created. They were worried about they way their opium was spread around all the countries that they traded with.Due to this spread int the countries of opium they didn't want to ask it anymore so they decided to end the opium trade and ban opium in terms of trade but of also creating opium in the country and giving it to anyone. They then made it public and banned opium in all countries. As Britain continued to demand it they then had it smuggled and they would trade with China. However some of the times of smugglers that smuggled products and were punished by the government.
